System Edström Bilinredningar AB was founded in 1958 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The owner at that time, Ulf Edstrom, was perceptive to the need of furnishing systems for different kinds of service vans/cars.

At first, furnishing systems for work shops were purchased and fitted in the cars. Rather soon the escalating demand for service van furnishing made us realise that there was in fact a need of a furnishing system especially designed for mobile use.

During the 60´s the company moved from Gothenburg to Sodermalm, in the centre of Stockholm, and later to Lanna, a suburb about 15 kilometers south of Stockholm.

Since 1986, the company is located in Upplands Vasby, approximately 20 kilometers north of the city of Stockholm.

The facilities at Upplands Vasby include a work shop for fitting the furnishing system in the car and a cash and carry ware house for Stockholm area. Distribution throughout Sweden starts out from our logistic centre in Kilafors, Halsingland.

Our production facility in England, based in Corby Northamptonshire; combines on one site, the warehousing of the stock, vehicle fitting centre along with ample parking and the distribution supply point out to customers and the dealer network within the UK.
